Lace Peter Pan Collar

My first "fashion-inspired" nail art!! The idea was from The Beauty Department but it was inspired by a top that I have.

Here's the top! One of my favourite tops ^^

First, I started with a nude base colour. I used OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh. I waited for it to dry COMPLETELY then I pasted reinforcement rings over to get the half-moon shape! I used the Konad M57 image plate and the Konad special polish in white to achieve the lace parts. Basically I just stamped over my nail and removed the reinforcement rings. And voila! Easiest way to do half-moons.

Then I free-handed the peter pan collars using my Le Chat Nail Art striper in Black.

My top doesn't have buttons but I thought the idea that The Beauty Department had was cute so I added them on anyway! I used the microbeads I got from Bittersweet Pea but i'm sure you can get them off of ebay or something. I just used a dotting tool to apply the topcoat where I wanted the beads to be, picked the beads up and stuck them on.

Really love how it turned out! Unfortunately, if you read my Tribal Nails post you probably know that I won't really be able to do nail art for the time being because of my job:( I might be able to churn a simple one out during my off-days but for now Mag will be flying solo in the nail art department. HAHA.

Anyway, I'm thinking of doing a tutorial of this or my Acid Wash Denim nails because I got quite a few questions on that one. What do you guys think?? It will be my first nail tutorial!
